The speaker and target languages can also be switched mid-service, so a guest reading a passage in their own language or a sudden need for one more language does not require restarting the session.

What more languages does to your plan hours
This is the part churches most often get wrong, so it is worth stating plainly: translating into more languages is not free. Every extra target language is another full translation of the same sermon, and the app counts it as more elapsed time taken from your monthly plan hours. One language uses your plan hours at the normal rate. Two languages use twice the rate. Five languages use five times the rate.

Keeping hours in check on Basic or Standard
Basic includes 12 hours a month on 1 active device, and Standard includes 30 hours a month on up to 2 active devices, plus subtitle mode, full transcripts and AI sermon notes. A 45 minute sermon translated into three languages uses about 2 hours and 15 minutes of plan time, not 45 minutes, so a weekly three language service on Basic can use most of a month's hours in two or three Sundays.

Setting up before Sunday
- Ask each language group's host which languages people actually need this week, not every language anyone in the building has ever spoken.
- Choose the speaker language and up to 5 target languages before the service starts.
- Put the Subtitles screen on the projector for the shared reading languages, and tell members who want captions on their own phone how to sign in.
- Add the QR Code Join add-on if visitors without accounts should be able to scan and read.
- Update the church glossary with names and terms so every language stays consistent week to week.
