How translation hours are counted

An hour of plan time is an hour of recording. Free and Basic include one reading language at a time, Standard includes two and All Languages includes every language. Each language beyond that uses another hour of plan time for every hour recorded, whether the host or a listener on a QR code picked it, and it is never refused. So a one hour service in two languages uses one hour on Standard and two hours on Basic. If the hours run out during a service, it keeps going and is not cut off mid-sermon: up to 90 extra minutes on a paid plan and 30 on the free hour.

Add-ons

Is there a free plan for church translation?

Every account gets 1 free hour of live translation each calendar month, with no credit card. It comes back on the 1st. There is no free unlimited plan.

How much does live sermon translation cost for a church?

Basic is $19.99 a month for 12 hours of live translation, and Standard is $34 a month for 30 hours. A church translating one weekly service of about an hour into one language uses roughly four or five hours a month.

Does translating into more languages cost more?

Can we cancel at any time?

Yes. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and the plan keeps working until the end of the period already paid for. The refunds page explains when money is returned.

Do listeners need their own plan?

No. With QR Code Join, included in every plan, listeners scan a code and read the captions in their browser with no account. Scanning costs nothing; a listener who picks a language beyond what the plan includes uses more hours, like any extra language. Members who want saved transcripts or notes of their own can sign in to their own account.
