Sermon Translate is built by Christians, for the church. It exists so that no one sitting in a service has to miss the Word because of a language barrier. We serve congregations of every denomination and background, and the app never adds, edits, or interprets doctrine on your behalf.

The Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final authority for faith and practice. Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior, and the gospel is for every nation, tribe and tongue. The church is called to make the Word understandable, and technology should serve that, never replace it.
How we handle Scripture
When the speaker quotes or cites a Bible passage, the app does not paraphrase it. It detects the reference and shows the published translation text for that verse in the listener's language. Everything else is a translation of what the speaker actually said; the app never generates content the preacher did not speak. Doctrinal terms your church uses can be added to your own vocabulary list so they are translated the same way every time.
